Expected Outcomes

  1. Home>
  2. Expected Outcomes
  • Protect the ballots by ensuring every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot that truly counts
  • Checkmate and hinder all forms of vote-rigging or manipulations of the voting process and final results
  • Compel the federal government, INEC and security agencies to remain unbiased and impartial
  • Ensure that all candidates and political parties are provided with equal treatment and a level playing ground
  • Checkmate the federal government from abusive exploitation of the “power of incumbency” and “federal might”, as tools for electoral intimation and oppression, especially the wrong use of INEC and security agents
  • Address the challenge of the militarization of the electoral process by the federal government, as a way to prevent voter apathy and protect the human and constitutional rights of the electorates
  • Enforce the direct digital transmission of election results from the polling boots to INEC-autorized Server, same as it was, in the cases of the recently conducted Ondo and Edo guber elections
  • Ensure a boot-to-boot voting observation team is created by CISCAES, which will engage the “Vote-and-Count Result Transmission Approach” as a reliable and transparent means of tracking the credibility of the voting process by making sure that all unit ballots are counted immediately and transmitted or reported to a CSO-controlled central situation room for online publication
  • Establish a CSO-controlled central situation room for boot-to-boot observation and immediate digital transmission of polling results.
  • Declare and defend the votes of the credible winner even by going the extra mile of monitoring and participating in post-election litigations, both at the tribunal and in courts for the basic purpose of ensuring judicial impartiality
  • Protecting the ballots and election results by all other lawful means possible.
